71st Padvidaan-2025
Gujarat Vidyapith is pleased to announce its 71st Padvidaan Ceremony.
The University is deeply honoured to welcome Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India, as the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
The event will be presided over by Shri Acharya Devvrat, Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat and Maharashtra & Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith, who will also deliver the Convocation Address.
Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest.
📅 Date : Saturday, 11th October 2025
🕔 Padvidaan Ceremony : 5:00 PM onwards
📍 Venue : Pranjivan Vidyarthi Bhavan, Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad.
Registration Details
Registration Venue: Behind Hirak Mahotsav Hall, beside Khadi Bhandar
Time: 12:30 PM
All students who have applied for the degree and are attending the convocation in person must report to their respective faculty registration desks at the above venue and time. Further instructions will be given thereafter.
Attire for Degree Holders:
- For Male Students: White pajama or dhoti, kurta, and Gandhi cap
- For Female Students: Plain white saree without border and white blouse
Each student must offer two hanks of khadi yarns per degree at the time of registration.
રજિસ્ટ્રેશન વિગતો
રજિસ્ટ્રેશન સ્થળ: હીરક મહોત્સવ હોલની પાછળ, ખાદી ભંડાર બાજુ
સમય: બપોરે 12:30 વાગ્યે
પદવી માટે અરજી કરેલ અને રૂબરૂ હાજર રહી પદવી લેનાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ સમયસર હાજર રહેવું ફરજિયાત છે. ત્યારબાદ આગળની તમામ સૂચનાઓ આપવામાં આવશે.
પદવી લેનાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓનો પહેરવેશ:
- ભાઈઓ: સફેદ પાયજામો કે ધોતિયું, ઝભ્ભો (પહેરણ) અને ગાંધી ટોપી
- બહેનો: રંગીન કિનારી વગરની સફેદ સાડી અને સફેદ બ્લાઉઝ
પદવી લેનારે પદવી દીઠ સુતરની બે આંટી રજિસ્ટ્રેશન દરમિયાન અર્પણ કરવાની રહેશે.
