Bhasha Sanskruti Mandir, established in 1990 under the visionary leadership of Prof. Ramlal Parikh (then Vice Chancellor), stands as a unique institution dedicated to celebrating India’s linguistic and cultural diversity. Far beyond an academic initiative, it represents a philosophy: cultural identity flourishes not through uniformity, but through the respectful integration of many voices.
By offering instruction in multiple Indian languages recognised in the VIII Schedule of the Constitution, the Mandir affirms that every language carries irreplaceable cultural wisdom and a distinctive worldview. This inclusive spirit naturally extends to international languages, fostering global awareness while remaining rooted in Indian civilizational values.
Inspired by Gandhiji and aligned with the vision of Article 351, the Mandir upholds the harmonious relationship between Hindi and regional languages, emphasising linguistic coexistence rather than hierarchy.
Over the years, the centre has grown into a vibrant hub of learning—empowering nearly 40,000 learners through its diverse Indian and foreign language programmes, and nurturing a deeper understanding of India’s pluralistic cultural fabric.
भाषा संस्कृति मंदिर has an established legacy of delivering high‑impact linguistic solutions to esteemed government bodies, healthcare institutions, and specialised organisations. Our key collaborations include:
